The Wild Ones

The Wild Ones is a wildlife adventure documentary series from Apple TV+ that follows a team of experts travelling around the world to find and help protect some of the planet’s most endangered animals. It mixes nature filming, survival challenges, and conservation work into one story-driven show. 

I was part of the talented team responsible for creating all the 3D maps featured throughout the documentary series. I worked closely with Lead Artist Ryan Wintle, Nik Maund, and Assistant Producer Joseph Spencer Young to develop highly detailed, geographically accurate environments that supported the storytelling and met the clients' standards. 

Using satellite data, I was able to build precise terrain and environmental models that achieved a high level of realism and consistency across episodes. My work focused on translating complex real-world landscapes into cinematic visuals that were both visually striking and geospatially accurate.

Through this project, I enhanced my proficiency with tools such as Maya and Adobe Substance Painter and Photoshop.
